Hey all! Hope everyone is having a good day! My name is Jason and I'm a high school science teacher in the southern US, specifically in Arkansas. I'm pretty bored and going to have a long day, as my students will be taking their ACT's today and I'm just sitting in my room. So, I thought I'd come back here and look for other people who are bored and wanting to chat! Here are some interests I have, in no particular order:
- Chess (I'm bad at it)
- YouTube (I'm obsessed and cannot leave)
- School (I'm in grad school right now)
- Work (Hybrid education is the worst thing to happen to this field)
- Reading (sci-fi, fantasy, or fanfiction)

- Travel (only been in the continental US, but after grad school I plan to teach abroad)

Estou tentando me afastar um pouco de uma pessoa que amo, e isso dói. Geralmente dá angustia, você sonha, ventila um pouco, quer botar pra fora e tals.
Por outro lado, algumas "ferramentas" para tentar "esquecer", são mais dolorosas ainda. Por exemplo: "AAAAH, pensa nas coisas ruins e blá blá blá.." Porra! Isso não funfa e você ainda fica pior.. O fato de você nutrir sentimentos bons por esta pessoa faz com que esses pensamentos/lembranças negativas te fodam mais ainda.
Ai você entra num dilema, passam-se os dias e tu chega em lugar nenhum. Até porque sempre me rendo e volto a estar ali com ela.
Mas eu tô bem, tem dias que é são mais difíceis, normal.. Mas dias melhores virão para todos nós :)

There are a series of techniques involved in foreskin_restoration. The basic principle in restoration is to grow extra skin and relocate the scar line over the glans so the inner skin stays on the inside and outer skin stays on the outside. By doing this, you can restore the mucous membrane in the inner skin and glans, which will resensitize your penis, will allow your penis to lubricate itself again, and give you a natural gliding action which helps in masturbation and sex.
You don't gain an entire foreskin back. The foreskin is not simply skin, and structures and specialized tissue do not grow back. However, it does restore the main function of the foreskin. It also takes years, as circumcision removes 30-50% of the skin on the penis, and growth is usually only about 1-3 mm a month. You will probably need to grow 80+mm to finish, though it varies from person to person, and some people have different ideas of restored (IE erect coverage, overhang, flaccid coverage, etc). This all being said, for some men it can be very empowering to regain control over their body which was lost as an infant.
I wanted to write this because there are many people who wish to misinterpret the motives, method, and end goal of the process. I am a normal guy who you would not look twice at; I am a young professional, am in a long term relationship with a woman I am going to marry, have fulfilling hobbies and interests, and I am restoring my foreskin. Anybody conflating restoration with particular ideologies has no idea what they are talking about. For me, I was cut very tight and always experienced issues like skin tearing and abrasion during sex and masturbation. Restoration has been a no-brainer for me. I wear a device 12+ hours a day which you would not notice. That's it.
You can look at my post history. I have been actively restoring for a year. I recommend for any guy who is having issues with his circumcision (whether psychological or physical).

2021.04.15 14:24 PEMPrepper Migraines - What to store
Hey guys, emerg doc and fellow prepper here. Decided to throw out a quick post on migraine because my brother called me today complaining of one.
Migraines are pretty horrible experiences if you’ve ever had one. That unilateral, throbbing, severe headache that worsens with any activity, light, or sound, and can last for days at a time. Doesn’t sound like something fun to deal with off-grid/SHTF.
So: Treatment of this. A lot of meds that we use for abortive therapy can be found OTC and are safe to use at home. Some aren’t, obviously, but here’s my suggestion for what to stock and take at the start of a migraine.
Naproxen 400-500 mg OR ibuprofen 600 mg. Can take naproxen every 12-24 hours OR can take ibuprofen every 6 hours. - if you have kids, the easiest thing for dosing is going to be ibuprofen at a dose of 10 mg/kg/dose every 6 hours. Max 40 mg/kg/day.
Acetaminophen 1000 mg, can take every 4 hours. - if you have kids, the dose is 10-15 mg/kg/dose every 4 hours. Max 75 mg/kg/day.
Fluids: dehydration is a big trigger, if you know how to run IVs then 1 L of normal saline (or 20 mL/kg for kids) can be super helpful. Otherwise do oral rehydration with 50 mL/kg for kids, up to about 2-3 L all drank over a period of ~4 hours in little aliquots every 15 minutes.
Consider taking a ‘triptan’ if you can get an Rx for one. Sumatriptan is pretty regularly used at a dose of 50-100 mg, can repeat once 2 hours later but so NOT take more than 1-2x in any 24 hour period.
Prevention: Here’s where some gold lies. Obvs stockpiling to treat migraines (and other aches/pains) is great, but not getting one is better. And a lot of this stuff is OTC or non-pharm.
- the non-pharm stuff is simple, good sleep, avoid fasting, avoid dehydration, limit stress, etc. Unfortunately all these may be hard in an emergency scenario.
- Riboflavin aka vitamin B2. The evidence isn’t fantastic, but it’s generally there. Standard dose is 100-200 mg per day, take with food cause it can be hard on the stomach. Also might make your pee brighter but don’t worry.
- Melatonin 3 mg at bedtime can also be preventative, especially in children. Almost non-existent side effect profile and available OTC.
- Coenzyme q10. Also very good safety data, OTC, and reasonable evidence for use of 300 mg per day (100 mg taken three times a day usually).
- Magnesium. Somewhat higher risk of toxicity but generally okay at a dose of 600 mg per day. Needs to be taken regularly for a few months to start exerting its effect though.
