2021.09.27 20:00 TransitionJealous364 Crash Reports
Hey all! Hope your Monday is going…that’s really the best we can hope for on a Monday, right?
I work for a PI firm in Indiana. One attorney. Earlier this year LexisNexis took over BuyCrash and we now have to purchase all of our reports through LexisNexis. We order quite a few and we just hit our limit for the number we can purchase without setting up an account. I had to fill out 20 pages worth of documents just for the application. And now they are saying there will be a site inspection?!?! Say what? Why would they need to do a site inspection? Anyone know what that entails??
Ugh…so much red tape just to get what we need for our business to function.

2021.09.27 20:00 productive_monkey Why does my impreza's cabin air filter door have these vents in it?
These vents open and let in air directly below the cabin filter, effectively bypassing the filter. While the air does come from the inside, it bothers me that most of the air can be simply bypassing the filter. If the car is in recirculate mode, I'd imagine the pressure drop above the cabin filter (from outside air) to encourage air flow almost exclusively through these vents, so there is no filtering done. That's an assumption of mine though. So can air actually enter above the cabin air filter during reciruclate mode?

2021.09.27 20:00 pm_ur_tits_pls Yet another "Help me pick 401K funds" post
I'm looking for advice on how to optimize allocations of funds inside my 401K. I'm a future potential FI/RE'er in my mid-late 30's, so I have a higher risk tolerance right now.
In my Roth IRA, I have a 100% Target 2060 Fund and I'm building up a taxable brokerage with 100% VTSAX right now. (I also have a taxable brokerage I keep no more than 10% of my total portfolio in "fun" stocks.)
The 401K has a decent selection of Vanguard-based funds so I was hoping I could get some guidance on smart allocations. I suppose my primary concern right now is overlap of holdings with funds, but if you see opportunities for other optimizations for now and into the future, I'd love to hear it. Don't hesitate to totally eviscerate my currently chosen allocations. Thanks!

2021.09.27 20:00 0DBCAM Music Buying Survey
Hi everyone, I'm conducting a quick survey about the experience of buying music digitally. This is research I'm doing for a music mobile app I'm designing for. This project is all part of an online course I'm learning. There are no requirements, I only ask for participants with experience buying music digitally. It should only take 10 minutes or less to do.
I appreciate any help and much thanks in advance for your time!

2021.09.27 20:00 Doujins Lets Talk About: Ole Miss
When: October 2, 2021
Where: Tusacaloosa, AL
Coach: Lane Kiffin (2nd year)
2020 Final Ranking (AP): Unranked
2020 Record: 5-5 (4-5 SEC)
Key Losses: WR Elijah Moore, TE Kenny Yeboah, RT Royce Newman, DL Ryder Anderson, ILB Jacquez Jones, K Luke Logan
Probably the pride and joy of Lane Kiffin's offense for the 2021 season. Redshirt Junior Matt Corral is by far the Rebels' best weapon. Corral led the nation in total offense in 2020 with 384.3 ypg as well as fifth in overall passing with 333.7 ypg. Corral has essentially picked up where he left off last year, already throwing for nearly 1,000 yards and 9 touchdowns through three games, averaging about 332.3 yards and 3 touchdowns per game. Despite him not being within the top 25 of quarterbacks in terms of statistics, Corral is considered to be a real contender for the Heisman Trophy. The success of Corral will not only depend on his play, but the play of those around him. He benefits from this with the return of Jerrion Ealy and Snoop Conner in the backfield, along with four returning starters on the offensive line.
The run game was not a high priority for the Rebels' offense in 2020, averaging only 210.6 ypg which was 26th best in the nation. This is nothing to sneeze at though, as the two stars of the Ole Miss backfield, Jerrion Ealy and Snoop Connor, are more than capable of explosive plays. Ealy totaled 745 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns last year despite the Rebels' low priority for the running game. Snoop Connor also had a decent 2020 with 421 yards and 8 touchdowns. This year, however, the running game has seen a slower start. Ealy and Conner only combined for 313 yards and 4 touchdowns on a combined 53 attempts, but they are also sharing the rock with another good running back in Henry Parrish Jr, who has a similar statline with 176 rushing yards and 1 touchdown on 25 attempts.
Matt Corral has also been apart of the Rebels' rushing game. Corral has rushed for 158 yards this season along with 5 rushing touchdowns. This is nothing new to his arsenal, as Corral ran for 506 yards and 4 touchdowns in 2020. Overall, not only is Corral a good passer, but he can take off and run too. This combined with a deep backfield has provided a lot of problems for Mississippi's opponents and does not seem to be slowing down any time soon.
In terms of concern for an offensive position group for the Rebels this season, wide receiver would likely the biggest choice, though not by a lot. Despite losing one of their best wide receivers in Elijah Moore, Ole Miss still returns a few veteran wideouts in Donatrio Drummond, Jonathan Mingo, and Braylon Sanders. All three have made a huge impact so far this season, combining for 762 yards and 9 touchdowns. Jahcour Pearson, an all-conference player at Western Kentucky in 2019, has taken up the spot left vacant by Moore's departure and will likely become another key component of the Rebels' offense as the season goes on. Overall, this wide receiver core is Matt Corral's main lifeline. No receivers, no big pass plays, no big stats for Mr. Corral.
Perhaps the strongest (literally and figuratively) group of the Ole Miss offense, the Rebels return 4 starters on the offensive line from last year. Center Ben Brown, a redshirt Senior, is the most experienced out of the bunch. Brown played in 816 offensive snaps and started every game at center in 2020, along with not allowing a sack in 432 pass blocks. This year, Brown has been moved over to right guard to make way for a new face on the o-line: Orlando Umana. Unmana, a senior transfer from Utah, has solidified himself as an anchor within the Rebels' offense.
Outside of Umana and Brown, the remaining offensive line starters don't have quite the same amount of experience, but are definitely not new to the Lane Train. Jeremy James, starting at right tackle, is a redshirt sophmore who started every game at right guard in 2020. Caleb Warren is a redshirt freshman at left guard who played in every game in 2020 with eight starts at left guard. Finally, Nick Broeker is a sophmore starting at left tackle who started in every game in 2020, allowing just two sacks in 432 passing attempts and is on the Outland Trophy Watch List.
Definitely no shortage of experience on this beefy Ole Miss offensive line.
Defense: 2020 Stats
The Rebels' defense seems to have improved so far this season, allowing 20.7 pts/game (50th) and 340.7 ypg (58th). Take this with a grain of salt, however, as Ole Miss has not played against many high level teams (no offense to Louisville, Austin Peay, and Tulane). So while their defense has improved, it has yet to be seen if they have improved enough to keep higher end opponents out of the endzone to allow their offense to score.
Special Teams: The Rebels lost veteran kicker Luke Logan this past offseason. Logan was a solid kicker for the Rebels, going 41-of-59 (69.5%) on field goals and 134-of-141 (95%) on PATs in his career. Kickers are perhaps the most underrated position on any team that isn't Alabama, so losing a good kicker like Logan could actually hurt the Rebels if they face a situation where a field goal or PAT decides a game. Fortunately for them, this hasn't been the case yet. Freshman kicker Caden Costa has started the season off well, going 4-of-5 on field goals with a long of 47, as well as 18-of-19 on PATs. So it is unlikely the Rebels will face any serious kicking woes for the next couple of years.
Overall: Ole Miss still has one of the best offenses in college football this year, not missing a beat from the 2020 season. They didn't lose a lot on the offensive side of the ball, and that has helped them tremendously in being able to achieve a top 15 ranking at this point in the season. Matt Corral is their bread and butter and arguably the most important player on the entire team. The Rebels are fully capable of dropping 50+ points on anyone they play, which they have already done twice this season. Where the Rebels fall short at is defense. While they have improved since the 2020 season, it still remains to be seen how they will fair against a high profile opponent. Based on their past few games, there do exists some exploits within the Ole Miss defense. Not only that, but the Rebels' defense has yet to hold an opponent out of the endzone this season and the lowest amount of points surrendered is 17 against Austin Peay. In the end, Ole Miss' offense is fully capable of beating anybody, while their defense is also capable of being beat by anybody.
Prediction: 48-38 Bama

2021.09.27 20:00 autotldr Armenia, Azerbaijan Mark One-Year Anniversary Of Start Of Karabakh War
This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 53%. (I'm a bot)
People in Azerbaijan and Armenia have marked the first anniversary of the start of the six-week war over the Nagorno-Karabakh region in which more than 6,600 people died and which ended with Azerbaijan regaining control of large swaths of territory.
Nagorno-Karabakh is within Azerbaijan but had been under the control of ethnic Armenian forces backed by Armenia since the end of a separatist war in 1994.
Last year's war ended when Pashinian signed a Russia-brokered cease-fire that granted Azerbaijan control of parts of Nagorno-Karabakh as well as adjacent territories occupied by Armenians.
Armenia says more than 3,700 Armenians and Nagorno-Karabakh residents died in the war.
Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry issued a statement placing blame for the war on Armenia, saying: "One year ago today, the armed forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan began responsive measures to counter another military provocation from the armed forces of the Republic of Armenia."
Armenia's Foreign Ministry said "The 44-day war was a preplanned and prepared military aggression, the purpose of which was to finally close the Karabakh issue by exterminating the Armenian population."
