I am on no medication whatsoever. Basically, I've been 0.5 dermarolling my hairline every day for about 2 weeks, and my hairline is noticeably thicker. No minox or fin.
I'm gonna keep doing this and see how long I can get away with it.

Hey all, making a second post for this. I've been looking for this for years! Unfortunately missed out on the repress a couple years back. Music means a lot to me - it would mean a lot to me if you would be willing to part with it. I'm not picky about which pressing it is. Name your price and we'll see if I can make it work! I know it's going to be high, that's fine.

2021.10.21 18:58 ProphetOfRegard 9 Tips I learned from the game and from IRL.

I honestly don’t know if this will help anyone here. I’ve been working in CQB theory for a while as a civilian who’s been lucky enough to train with guys in the Special Forces and Special Operations communities for a couple years. One thing I’ve learned is there’s a thousand ways to skin a cat, but finding which ones work for you are great ways to help you stay alive. And to get to my point, they translate relatively well to Insurgency.
1.) Your weapon is not just weighted, it’s lengthy. When stacking on windows/doors/archways understand your weapon can easily tell someone in a deep fed room, or otherwise if you’re waiting to come in. Just be weary of this when you’re about to cross into the threshold.
2.) Kicking doors, more times obnoxious. Most guys I’ve worked with have learned if you’re going to go dynamic (basically going explosive or kinetic with a kick or hammer) you have to toss the dice in terms of if you’re going to fill the room with your stack, or work the solution from the doorway. The sucky thing is, doing both can get you killed. After all you’ve activated the room with a stimulus with one point of contact. The doorway is the only thing they have to aim at. Keep this in mind ESPECIALLY when you are solo in buildings. Plus your guy screaming “KNOCK KNOCK” pretty much tells everyone on the cap where you are and your likelihood of dying is IMMENSE.
3.) Spacing. We all do it. Sometimes we don’t realize we’re on top of a friendly. That’s okay. Situational awareness is something you need not just for enemies, but also friendlies. Try and keep space on you and dude guy so you don’t shoot each other, or get schwacked by the guys mag dumping the side of the building.
4.) Indoors or most CQB environments, geometry will save your life. Whether being the offense or defense of a point, the less you expose yourself to your field of fire the better. Use verticality if possible, but this means break up your signature by shooting through car windows, under cars or tables, keeping a narrow space in a door way, etc. But you also want the ability to bound off the X (where you’re getting shot at) in case someone is about to outgun you. (Ya know like those PKM’s that yeet you into the existential realm known as the loadout screen)
5.) Bounding between different points of attack works wonders. But also can be a killer. Moving from one spot at all does increase your chance of dying since you’re pushing into the unknown. However, when defending a point, eventually someone will put 2 and 2 together and will take a chance at prefiring your corner. That is the most common place to find defenders after all, and most spaces have only 4 corners. Think like a sniper. If the same guy, or his buddy with Intel on where you killed someone comes through, eventually someone will guess where you are. Break contact and readjust your spot. Kill them, and move again. This will prevent them from making detailed call outs other than you being on a point.
6.) Comms are a strength, but proxy goes both ways. Enemies will hear you say “Hey, around this corner there’s one!” Not only does it say ‘I’m about to peak this guy’ but it also lets him know he can move and use that call out as a ruse. Be mindful of your comms. But also don’t neglect them.
7.) Doorways have and always will be the deadliest encounter. It’s one point of contact, and all it takes is a mag to drop a team. Don’t stand in them (I’m sure most of us don’t) and don’t move through them slowly. If you make the dedicated choice to push through the threshold, you’ve already rolled the dice. Now it’s do or die. Either button hook, or flow. But do so with tenacity and confidence. (This is much more efficient with a stack of guys, but sometimes you just figure “why not?”) Clearing the doorway allows quick entry of more than one guy and means more guns on multiple angles. This will save lives. Otherwise, clear from the door via pie as best as you can. This does not imply standing in the door itself, as you want to maintain a distance on the door to allow clearance of your barrel, and not to flag it to those in the room. Doing this external to a building has cons too. Sometimes you can do everything right and still lose.
8.) Overlapping sectors. This one is more a quality of life adjustment. Because at the end of the day it’s all luck. But if your team manages to hold different angles of fire, that overlap from different degrees, you’ll dominate your field of view. This is basically what support gunners and snipers call a “kill zone”. It’s the established point that current positions allow a perfect dominance on enemy aggression. There’s ways to do this internally or externally. External would be for example multiple hard cover roof tops across from each other. You’re not stacked up, but you’re close enough comms and control are easy. This is improved even more if you can adjust or flow to enemies flanking or outmaneuvering the kill zone. This especially is what helps teams in games like Push or Frontline if they’re wanting to stay on a defensive
9.) Try as hard as you can not to stick your head over cover to shoot. The only thing exposed is small sure, but it’s your head. Getting canoed takes just one lucky shot. Sometimes it’s all you can do, but shooting under and out the sides of your cover will prove to help a little bit more. This kinda coincides with breaking up your signature when shooting.
That’s about all my 2am brain has for now. Hope this helps some of you. There’s new people almost every week, and some haven’t had an experience with such a hardcore style. I hope you guys enjoy the game as much as I do

2021.10.21 18:58 Fit-Presentation-778 Thinking about starting a tile server, but have a couple of questions.

I've been reading around, trying to figure out what kind of hosting I may like to do. From what I understand, raster is server side rendered images, shared out to the client. Vector is server data given to the client for a client-side render, right? My main concern is system resources required to run it. I read here that you need a beefy machine: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Servers/Tile_CDN

But then I read here that you can do it with much less: https://switch2osm.org/serving-tiles/ Requirements will range from 10-20GB of storage, 4GB of memory, and a modern dual-core processor for a city-sized region to 300GB+ of fast storage, 24GB of memory, and a quad-core processor for the entire planet.
What is the difference between these 2 services? Is the switch2osm a vector service where the openstreetmap is a raster? If they're the same, I can't imagine why their system requirements are so different. And if you host using either of those methods, what is the throughput on it? Are those specs for single user requests? Or is it multi threaded, supporting 10s of thousands requests a day and the rendering is where the bottleneck happens?

2021.10.21 18:58 Advanced_Path_8274 asking for advice with apps like grindr?

hello, throwaway account to ask this question.
I'm a gay dude living in the united states, and I'm a virgin. since I recently turned 18, I've been curious about using an app like grindr in order to lose my virginity, since I'm still closeted, and this would be an easy way to go about this. Problem is I'm a little timid, and have heard a lot of horror stories about this app. Any tips and or advice about this scenario? thanks.
